It creeps up on you

exhaustion, fatigue, depression are all signs that you are experiencing caregiver burnout. The problem is not how to fix it, but how to avoid it all together. It is easy enough to take a small break and refresh, but you will be back with your care receiver and if you don't do anything differently you will be in the same situation. Mindfulness is one option to help focus your mind and avoid jumping into situations where there is no benefit.
